3D printing



Esma has been working with machines for over 30 years. Since early 2013, this has also included an additive manufacturing or AM machine, better known as a 3D printer. This machine builds three-dimensional metal objects layer by layer based on a digital file.

In this way, Esma produces small, customized production quantities quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. Computerized manufacturing results in enormous savings in time, labor, and costs for the customer.

Not only small series, but also complex components, parts that are no longer available, and spare parts for industrial applications can be printed in three dimensions.

Esma uses various metal powders as raw materials, such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, and cobalt-chromium. Consequently, the application sectors are very broad: industry, aerospace, automotive, electronics, designer jewellery, art objects, medical applications such as prostheses, implants, hearing aids…
